Happy Thursday!

Howdee Bike Racers! It's Thursday... Remember when we used to do trivia on Thursday? Yeah... you guys just weren't into it.

Well, it's BBQ season and you know what that means... It's grillin' time. Time to get off of work at a reasonable hour to fire up the Weber and grill some meat and veggies... Curly Style! That just means you open a beer or two while yer cookin'. I think you can manage that without needin' an instructional video. Nothin' like watching the Curly watchdogs salivate for 12 minutes solid.

Oh yeah... we're gonna see some fireworks here pretty quick once all of the PROs come clean and use this phrase "I was gonna dope... I didn't... but I was gonna. All of my wins before I got caught were on the level... My conscience was bothering me about my "intending" to dope. But trust me... Yeah, I've lied for years about doping, but now I'm fer real."

Yer not hearin' too much about the testing process are you? Not until it gets down to the wire and the lawyers make arguments about how the blood was obtained, what's in the blood and how OJ was prolly involved. I have to hand it to Richard Pounder. He has kept his mouth shut pretty much. I'm sure he wants to talk. Something to note: About a year ago I was able to voice my concern to Mr. Pounder about his methods via e-mail (acquired through the UCI site)... Yeah, that e-mail address disappeared pretty quickly. 'Cept for the Contact Curly set up in his Outlook.

Yeah... we're gonna see some real fireworks. Hondo is gone, Hamilton is gone. We have about 2-3 weeks until Armstrong gets mentioned about being a possible doper (to which I don't see the point anymore) Scarponi pretty much has said he's a doping loser. We'll see an interesting Giro and Tour this year that's for sure. It's a sad friggin day when a guy like Bettini has a chance at winning the Giro.

Yer Trainin': Grill something and then do some sprints... you should be plenty rested. Try to sneak out at lunch too... Lastly, Ol' Curly is gonna leave you with some media for thought. Remember when we didn't know much about doping? I liked them days. This is fun to watch. The 1989 World Champs
