Howdy bike rodeo clowns... Ol' Curly has pretty much written off the season of racing after the Matava debacle... Not much hope for anything other than participating and charity rides. So, Curly will be building some saddle time for the MS 1-fitty in Sept. That fine Principia frameset to the left will be about finished by then so we'll use that time as her maiden voyage... Now Coach Curly knows what yer thinkin'... "But Curly, you can't just up and start riding a new bike on a 2-day, 150 mile+ ride" To which Curly sez... BS. I can do what I want... 150 miles is the perfect time to dial stuff in. Besides, I've been ridin' long enough to know how to fit my bike... I've read the Lemond, Book of Cycling alot of times... ALOT of times. Now why on God's green pastured Earth would Curly by yet another "unknown" brand of bike to race on... Simple... He don't like having the same thing as everyone else. Ol' Curly toyed with ordering from Naked Cycles, but the Principia was too good to pass up and besides... it's Aluminum reared... No carbon BS in the rear... A cheap carbon seatpost is all Curly needs at the back.
Now the Principia is Danish... another great reason to buy it. Ol' Curly knows that the Danes, Swedes, and Norges know a thing or 2 about cycling and making things last. Besides... Most folks don't know that Curly's Great, Great Grandparents were sturdy, Danish farmers... and that Curly only showcases the Norwegian roots from his past to fit in... That may all change for next season... we'll see. Yeah... Ol' GG Granny, Kirstine Curlysdotter started it all back in the early 1900's by riding her basket bike to the market every weekend and hauling 200lbs of baking supplies home on her back... uphill... both ways... One of these days I'll tell the story of how Curly's Uncle's burned their house down when playing with matches and how the 300lbs of stockpiled sugar, and homemade dandelion wine gave off the sweetest of smells and burned the brightest blue you ever did see... yeah... I'll tell that story one day... but not now...

"seetest of smells and bruned"
how much dandy-lion wine was consumed before the writing of that post?
Now what's the matter? You were saying something about a spelling error or something... I don't see it... which paragraph is that in?
Hey everyone... I guess we all hired Lil' Willi to be the Blogosphere Post Editor-in-Chief.
Didn't ya ferget to mention the piles of snow that ol' Granny Curlysdotter had to ride thru? And how the wind would change direction on every trip just about the time she got to the market so she had a headwind both ways?
No, that only happened in Ireland! And those well to do Danes always had shoes to wear too.
We couldn't afford 2lbs (or the brits wouldn't let us have any more) of Sugar!
I'm ok with the spelling errors, but the Snapshots are the kind of annoying fluff crap I'd expect from the other CTS. The frame looks nice though. Charity rides... shudder.
Nice, but what happened to Planet-X?
Rainbike... Jonatone... Rainbike.
and Solobreak... you can disable those with a right-click. I like to get a snapshop of the other blogs without actually have to click on anything...
I saw the new Novara full-carbon / DA bike...you shoulda waited for that!
DA? dude... don't be spreading your sushi-gruppo talk in this blog... I may try to get that Novara frame at the sample sale tho
