Nesting Instincts for Dads

Howdy bike racers! Another busy weekend with chores and such around the ranch. Surprisingly, yesterday's "Lunch Ride" was just the thing I needed to re-energize. Hey nice work to the HB feller that nearly beat DiLuca yesterday... another 50m and he woulda had him I think. How was your weekends? It was nice to see some weekend updates from the races... including OAD, Stoked and AwedJob who ran the Eugene Marathon and webcasted/podified his 26.2 mile journey. I hope you raised alot for homelessness.

I'm still waiting for CTodd to get hold of another camera so he can post some fine content. I spent my weekend taking care of Lil' Curly (still recovering and not wanting to sleep in his bed... and waking up every hour) and working on yard projects. I did manage to git a ride or two in as you'll see. Lots of story ideas from the weekend... you'll see them this week. We're down to 4 weeks to go until all "family" hell breaks loose and I start sharing some dad reality with you via video... yer gonna see some real tired. How about that Basso...? Leaving so fast buddy? Now if all falls into place just as it should , he'll "retire" and Graham Watson can make some cash off of the photo montage. Shame on you Asso, I mean Basso... And that was Thai Pasta I made... I found this little video over the weekend. Just a warning... it's curiously addicting. THE VIDEO

Yer Trainin': Let's do a little yardwork this week huh?... Yer grass is lookin' pretty shabby.

Thanks for the link to your friend's doc. I will come back periodically and check it out. Thanks for the words of encouragement as well.

Fire away. Interviews are time consuming. It will keep me from calling home and complaining to my mom....

i meant to ask - how do ya make that sauce?

I made up a batch of gewilli peanut noodles the other day...

just wondering what ya got in there...

1 cup organic smooth peanut butter
1 cup hot water
(mix them together until smooth)
2 tbls fresh ginger (use fresh)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 tsp minced garlic
2 tbls of sesame oil
1 tbls of canola
(mix those into the first mixture)

you can adjust seasoning and consistency with the soy sauce and vinegar. Eat until the scale reads 2-fitty... then switch to low fat dressing.
