How to put your WSBA number on... for under a buck
(VIDEO SNACK IN THE SIDEBAR)
Howdly folks... Ol' Curly is in one hell of a good mood today. It seems the 2 biggest projects have been delivered yesterday and now the pace can slow down to the speed of a tumbleweed. AND Ol' Curly can git back to ridin' more and spending some QT with you folks. As a little present, I've made you a "How To.." video. Now I know you'll look at the title and go... "But Curly... I know how to do that..." to which... I'll say... "Seal that ClifHole of yours... I've seen some of your numbers... Twist Ties?? C'mon... reflector brackets... jeebus H... Your WSBA number deserves something a bit more classy. Just watch it... Now Ol' Curly ain't selling these things. Those nice folks** down at the Depot sell all of the supplies. As long as they don't have the damned aisle shut down to move some crap or sweep the floor. Stuff they shoulda been doing before customers got there... but that's another topic for another day. They even sell the electrical zip ties with the screw attachment points. Make sure you don't scrimp on the allen bolts... get the stainless ones... you'll thank yerself.
OK... Flanders has come and gone... We now should be shifting our focus to PR tonite. My prediction for the Cat 1/2/3 win is Martaint. Mainly cuz he said all last week he was gonna win tonite with his secret bad ass breakaway move that no one is sposed to know about... that will happen on lap 4... watch for it.
PruDog will attack on lap 1... into the headwind... but only if it's a neutral lap. OAD will be on his wheel. Kenny will... Kenny? Oh that's right... he never goes to PR.
Your Training: I want you to remove your brakes today. Ride around with no brakes. You need to develop your nerves a bit more for the upcoming crit season. That's an old trick Pat White taught me. 'Cept I don't think anyone has the ceramic ball bearings to do it the way he did it.
