O.K. I know it's not "PRO" centric in the sense that a rider is focused on... but I thought this was a good question and pretty damned hard. The inspiration for it was getting "The Gift that Keeps on Givin'" yesterday... my subscription to Cycle Sport... in the mail. Have at it... I'll post the answer tomorrow as usual... If you feel like you're a badass... cuz you know the answer and all... post a comment saying so... I've activated "Anonymous" posting so you don't have to look like a jackass. I'll start us off.
Local News... I'm filming the trailer for the Frostbite Time Trial today... that means it's not long before I unleash it on you folks. Is the video necessary?? Hell yeah... I won't sleep until I know I did my best at promoting my races as best I can. Next year... I may even ride the damned thing. Wait until you see the Des Moines trailer...
Not so local news... Friggin Museeuw!
On a positive note... Hats off to Oleg Tinkoff. He pulled off a splendid interview in "The Gift that Keeps on Givin'"... I hope they kick ass and beat their goal of 10 PRO wins and 1 PRO-toor win. Oleg has pumped 4 million Euros of his own money in this team and I think he may just get all of it back. My money is on Hamilton this year... and yeah I still believe he didn't dope. The man is crankin' out over 400 watts right now during the Russian Spin Classes in Moscow... he has to win.
Sponsor Plug... I haven't worn Northwaves since back when they used to make each one a different color for the Left/Right challenged. I have to say that using my new pair of Aerator Race shoes is a pleasure. I almost feel like dropping by Il Vecchio during one of it's 2 open hours per week to tell them how good they work with my "crappy" Speedplays... I think you're wrong George Sr... Speedplays kick ass. Oh yeah... Coach Curly and I love our Northwaves.
Still Waiting... For Tyler Hamilton and Dave Zabriskie to return my e-mails on doing interviews for this here blog... to be performed by Coach Curly of course.
Old News... Legal Master's Age for racing in WA state is "older than Martaint"... that's the standard. There are 2 ways around it... 1. WA State Criterium Championships... and B. For Martaint to post a comment*** on today's post to include some crap about having a mortgage, a kid, a job, a bad hair day, tight shorts, a climb up Juanita Hill, too many road turtles in his path, moral sprinting dilemmas, and unmatched bicycle color schemes.
Alright... pick your winner... see you tomorrow.
*** The comment must be no longer than 3 complete sentences, make sense, and not sound like whining.

Well, I couldn't bertray the old country two weeks in a row. Looks like 2 people so far Gossta check their facts ;- )
I like your cockiness... however... 2 words and a date for ya... Stephen Roche and 1987.
Duh! That's what I'm talking about.I wasn't going to get that wrong.
my bad... I thought your guess was Ireland... cuz that would be wrong. Especially since "yer man" there did the dirty trinity that year
There is a poster of "yer man" on the wall in our house--and not in the garage, mind you. Not likely that O.A.D. would forget him.
From Villach, no less! With the King in the background raising his hand too....sweeet.
