Doping Control and What's for Lunch

Yeah... old Curly is back. Well, I've been given a day so I'll use it wisely. We have some good news on the PRO racing front. No other so-called racing news sites or BLOGS will have this piece of work. It seems that Dick Pound has inked an agreement with the folks at Honey Bucket to perform all doping control collection points for 2007's PRO Tour races.

I was able to get Pound(er) on the phone late last night for comment and here's what he said.

"It seemed like a great pairing for us to improve our efforts for doping control. We've taken a long look at our procedures and the collection point was the weak area in our programme. The kind folks at Honey Bucket stepped up to the plate where Sani-Sure and Jimmee's Crappers weren't able to provide the level of service we needed. Honey Bucket provides a superior product and can assure us of total anonymity of the riders. It seems we were looking at individual riders when we should have been focusing on the peloton as a hole... I mean whole. Now we will collect the entire peloton's urine in one fail swoop and if that sample tests positive in the least... we'll suspend the whole peloton. That puts the responsibility on the entire peeloton to keep each other clean... or they're all out!"

Now I have to say that for once... this Cat 4 feels like real progress has been made. I didn't think Pound had the rocks to put together such a quality plan. I guess we can all count on some clean racing for a change.

Local News... Lunch time rides will be starting up again from Starbucks. We're having tacos in the cafeteria, served with boiled carrots and milk is available. See you buggers next week where I'll have some exciting news about something you want to read about. Enjoy your Curly time the rest of the week... there is much planned I hears...

What time do the Star-Butts ride leave at and how long are they? Or is that just a bunch of boiled carrots.
