Another night of broken sleep. And as promised Ol' Curly is gonna give you the information he has about SIDS. It's a scray ass thing for parents. You never get a deep sleep for 2 years. No one really talks about it cuz it's too hard to deal with unexplained tragedy.
So here goes. It wasn't until the 50's that the term SIDS came about. An increase in the amount of sudden death while babies were sleeping. Dr. Jim Sprott has a pretty good case as to why he thinks this happens and how to prevent it.

Sure it may be a way to sell food grade bags to cover mattresses, but for 30 bucks... I'll suffer the embarassment of being duped. My point is... it's the best explanation they can come up with and there's some science behind it and look at how many chemicals are put into things these days. If I had my choice... I'd risk a non-fire retardant mattress for my kids health.
Now Ol' Curly is still gonna miss alot of sleep... he will until he dies... cuz that's how it works. I'll always be worried... I won't bother to tell the boys about it when the times comes... they'll figure it out. Now we have managed to get one kid through the danger zone with SIDS. For 30 bucks I'd like to make it 2 for 2.

Just say no to plastic.
The Bicycle Paper notes that you are promoting the "Des Moines Masters' Criterium Championships" on July 1. Out to crown the Des Moines masters champ, are you? Never mind the whole rest of the state. Just the DM champ. Not expecting big fields, I hope?
Interesting article. Indoor air quality issues are not that difficult to address, but for all the money that is spent on "home improvements" this area doesn't get much attention. Play it safe, buy the kid a hypoxic tent, or just recycle and old fume hood from a lab.
Yeah... I'm hoping to get DM declared a state. Right now it's a state of mind, so we're close.
They must have run out of room... damn print ads
