It has been proposed to add a "Retro" category to the NW time trials. Meaning... no aero bars, no clip ons, no aero rimmed wheels, no discs... etc. I have to admit... I'm toying with the idea. I'm not sure I'd want to enter that category, but it does make sense for newbies and retro-grouches that want a competitive category for the under-equipped.
Cripes... wouldn't this be a bite... A "Retro" category rider smacking the crap out of the fastest aero-disc-wheeled-wonder TT'r with Zipp sponsorship and FSA accessories?
We'll put it to a vote next Wed i think.
Oh... and Tuesdays will be "Curly-Spray" day... Look forward to the new "Name that rider" trivia tomorrow... I'll give you a hint... the answer is not a PRO rider.

Nice pic of Dave Lloyd, he was a super TT'er and rode with Ti Raleigh for a season in Europe.
That was probably in the Merseyside Invitational TT, no I never got an invite ; -)
