I thought I might post a little gem here for you to enjoy over the weekend. It seems that alot of folks spend their weekends busting their ass, pounding out the miles, watching their heartrate soar past the point of no return. Well, I'm here to tell you to cut that crap out! You should be keeping the HR down right now... so what if some Zoka dude passes you like you were standing still... who cares if a cat 2 passes you going uphill like you were going backwards. SLOW IT DOWN. Train that lazy body of yours to be efficient. Now ain't the time to win races...
Now you're probably sayin' "Ah hell, Coach Curly doesn't know what it's like to have your heart exploding in your chest while trying to keep up with folks at PR." I'll tell you... You been doing what you're doing year after year and what has it gotten you? That's right... once in a long while... if Kenny is out of town, you might git yourself an innertube.
Now have a good weekend... and slow it down... till I tell you to GO FAST.
